Have a memorial piece of our amazing Hornbill, Kong. Kong arrived at the park in 2004 from his place of hatch, the Los Angeles Zoo, and was a devoted father and partner for over 20 years at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. 

These hornbills come from lowland rainforests of Indonesia, and vital to the survival of the rainforest because they’re seed dispersers. They help to make more trees and plants.

These snakes are known for their docile and even temperament and often will eat venomous snakes! They can be found living within gopher tortoise burrows and play a vital role in ecosystem health.
