12 Aug 2024 30th Annual Photo Contest Winners
This year’s photo contest judge, Pamela Cohen, had to narrow down hundreds of photo contest entries to one Best in Show and nine Honorable Mentions. Entries were received from all over the United States and Canada. After reviewing previous contest winners plus the high-quality submissions, she determined she “was looking for quality and uniqueness; images that elicited emotion and “played” well with the light. I wanted selections that could hold the viewers’ attention and make them feel they are one with nature.” Pamela Cohen ~ Prima Photography
We think the selections are magnificent and showcase a wide array of both wild and exotic animals expressing a variety of natural behaviors!

Equipment used: Nikon Z8 camera with NIKKOR Z 100-400 mm f/4.5-5.6 VR S lens
“The photographer’s keen observations and quick reaction sealed in time the behavior of the two alligators. A fast shutter speed stopped the splashing water and added to the intensity of the drama and exhilaration of the moment. Well done!” ~Pamela Cohen
