When school is out, Zoo Camp is in!

Zoo Camps teach children about wildlife, introduce them to zoological conservation, and help them make new friends. Our education team is excited to welcome your future zoologists to our park as we participate in fun-filled single-day or week-long camps at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park. Zoo Camp at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm

SINGLE-DAY CAMPS

Single-day Zoo Camps are open for students ages 6 to 10. Lunch and snacks are provided, or campers may bring their own. Please have your camper bring a small bag with anything they may need for the day. Suggested pack list: water bottle, closed-toe shoes, weather and outdoor camp appropriate clothing, jacket (if needed), lunch and snacks (if needed), daily medications.

Time: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Dates: January 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 15th and February 19th.
Price: $45 members, $50 non-members

SUMMER WEEK-LONG CAMPS

Week-long Zoo Camps are open for students ages 6 to 10. For students 10 – 14, check out our Venture Camp! Lunch and snacks are provided, or campers may bring their own. One camp shirt is provided for the week, and additional shirts are available for purchase. Please have your camper bring a small bag with anything may need for the day. Suggested pack list: water bottle, closed-toe shoes, weather and outdoor camp appropriate clothing, jacket (if needed), lunch and snacks (if needed), daily medications.

  • RAINFOREST ROMP

  • This week campers will journey into the rainforest without even leaving the zoo! From caimans and lemurs to toucans and marmosets, many animals like the jungle life. Adventurers will learn all about this unique habitat and the animals that call it home. THIS CAMP IS SOLD OUT!

  • Does your camper enjoy the “yuk” side of science? In our grossest camp ever, we will dive right into the stinky, slimy, and dirty of the animal world. This camp is very hands-on, so make sure your camper is ready to roll their sleeves up and get down and dirty at the Alligator Farm. THIS CAMP IS SOLD OUT!

  • Calling all junior scientists! Help us explore the natural world and talk about the natural processes seen in biology by completing experiments based around botany, zoology, paleontology, and more! THIS CAMP IS SOLD OUT!

  • Ever wonder what a zoo full of dinosaurs would look like? Get ready to let that roar out, as campers will join us in checking out some of our “living dinosaurs” and learning about their ancient history! THIS CAMP IS SOLD OUT!

  • Avast ye maties! Join us for a week of swashbuckling fun as we explore the ins and outs of a pirate’s life. Are you ready to set sail as we learn about famous pirates and their buried treasures?   • JR ZOOKEEPER

  • Time to jump into the world of zookeeping! In this camp, we will study the habitats and behaviors of our zoo’s residents. Campers will observe our ambassador animals, learn about training, and discover what animals need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives here at our park. THIS CAMP IS SOLD OUT!

  • BACKYARD BUDDIES

  • Our Florida backyard has some of the most unique species found on earth. From sea turtles to manatees and indigo snakes to panthers, Florida is one of the most diverse states for species richness. Campers will learn all about their exotic backyard and the importance it plays. THIS CAMP IS SOLD OUT!

All Zoo Campers must follow zoo rules. Campers must: wear closed-toe shoes with a back (no clogs/Croc-like shoes); follow the instructions given by zoo staff; take part in all scheduled activities; stay with the group at all times; be respectful of others including staff, other campers, and animals; keep their hands, feet, and objects to themselves. No running or horseplay is permitted. Before and aftercare are not provided.
