BLUEGRASS CONCERT SERIES

Cory Walker, a Lithia, FL native and 2014 IBMA Momentum “Instrumentalist of the Year” now based in Nashville, joins forces with Winchester, KY’s Brenna MacMillan, who began banjo at age nine and won the 2018 Red Foley Memorial Music Award. As members of award-winning East Nash Grass and The Suwannee Mountain Boys (Cory) and former leader of touring Theo & Brenna Band (Brenna), the duo has shared stages with Keith Urban, Sierra Ferrell, Ricky Skaggs, Morgan Wallen, and more across global tours and national TV. Cory’s 2023 debut School Project on Mountain Fever Records showcases his virtuoso banjo, while Brenna’s 2024 Dear Life blends tender songwriting, traditional picking, West African rhythms, and Kentucky storytelling. Together, this Nashville-based banjo powerhouse delivers fresh bluegrass fire.
